SEFA Joins the Investment Intergroup Discussion on Financing Europe’s Affordable and Sustainable Housing

Access to quality, affordable housing remains a growing challenge across the EU, with rising property prices and energy costs placing increasing pressure on households. As housing moves to the centre of EU policy discussions, mobilising long-term investment across the real estate value chain has become essential.

SEFA is participating in the Investment Intergroup on Housing, contributing its expertise on linking energy performance, financing and long-term housing affordability.

SEFA’s contribution highlights that sustainable housing is not only about supply, but also about reducing long-term living costs through improved energy efficiency and resilient heating and cooling solutions.

Chaired by Annalisa Corrado, and with the exclusive participation of Irene Tinagli, Chair of the European Parliament on Housing Crisis Committee, and Borja Giménez Larraz, Rapporteur of the European Parliament Report on the Housing Crisis, this event will bring together policymakers, key public and private decision-makers and investors to exchange their perspectives and solutions to one of the most pressing EU policy topic.
