MIPIM: International Market for Real Estate Professionals.

SEFA will be at MIPIM together with its members Rimond and Nordic Partners.

Join us to discuss financing and delivery solutions for sustainable, resilient buildings and to explore how public and private actors can scale investment in the built environment.

In addition, SEFA’s Executive Director, Lina Konstantinopoulou, will take part in the session

Adapting for a Changing Climate: Regenerating Cities and Strengthening Urban Resilience

Cities are facing rising climate pressures - extreme heat, flooding, water scarcity, and aging infrastructure - while also needing to revitalise neighbourhoods, enhance public spaces, and support thriving communities. This session explores how adaptation can drive urban regeneration, creating places that are resilient, liveable, and economically vibrant.

A keynote will frame how climate adaptation strategies can unlock broader regeneration and placemaking opportunities. A fire chat with mayors will explore the policy levers, governance models, and partnerships needed to deliver resilience at scale while strengthening community identity and protecting vulnerable residents.

Participants then work in five targeted round tables focused on retrofitting, regenerative infrastructure, policy and urban form, financing resilient regeneration, and community-centred resilience. Each group will identify practical, scalable strategies for cities adapting to a changing climate.
