A call to build on Europe´s Climate Action and progress towards an Energy Union

Ahead of the COP30 political negotiations, SEFA welcomes the progress made towards meeting Europe´s climate targets and making a clean energy transition

As the need for action becomes more urgent, SEFA calls on the European Commission and Member States to build on the progress achieved and to step up implementation . The next phase must focus on implementation and credibility: transforming existing commitments into tangible benefits for citizens and businesses and aligning European energy and financial infrastructure with the objectives of the Paris Agreement and the vision of the Energy Union.
