SEFA’s response to the EBRD Public Consultation on Green Economy Transition Strategy 2026-2030

The Sustainable Energy Finance Association (SEFA) welcomes the EBRD’s public consultation on the proposed GET Strategy 2026-2030 and its broader intention to scale green transition finance five-fold by 2030. Our submission focuses on how the EBRD can maximise impact in the built environment by designing practical and tailored local delivery mechanisms with the potential to scale lending and investment volumes to:

  • Building renovation portfolios,

  • Building climate resilience measures,

  • District heating and cooling (DH/DC) modernization and extension.
