SEFA’s Response to Commission’s Consultation on Construction Housing Strategy

The EU still have a lot to fix when it comes to deep renovation conditions: simpler permits, clearer and more consistent sustainability standards, efficient procurement, digital tools for proof of performance, and risk-sharing mechanisms that unlocks private finance. Done together, these steps will raise productivity in the construction ecosystem, deepen the Single Market, and deliver affordable, healthy, low carbon homes at scale.
