The Future of Energy Efficiency Financing: Scaling Solutions, Unlocking Potential

With the EU Climate Action and Energy Union progress reports indicating a slowdown in building renovation and electrification, and with energy & housing affordability and resilience now high on the political agenda, implementation plans are rightly under scrutiny.  If the EU and Member States are to deliver on renovation targets activity must move quickly into a new phase and be transformative in its contribution to the challenges of energy and housing affordability, industrial competitiveness and climate resilience.

Co-hosted with Renovate Europe Campaign, this webinar will explore the innovative business models and financial frameworks that are helping to unlock investment and accelerate the clean energy transition. SEFA members are already championing new structures that de-risk projects, mobilise capital and build a stronger market for energy efficiency across Europe.

This webinar will showcase practical approaches and lessons from frontrunners across the sector. We will:

  • Highlight the structural challenges slowing market development and deal flow

  • Share how leaders are managing risk, valuing staged renovation and securing investment

  • Identify what is now required to scale activity and close Europe’s energy-efficiency investment gap

The session will also mark the launch of SEFA’s new financing campaign aimed at strengthening Europe’s market for energy efficiency.
